Lots of things come to mind, but certain scents make me nostalgic I guess. Certain Yankee candles that my mom would burn make me think of various holidays. And older motel rooms always smell the same, and take me back to Jersey shore trips with my Gramma in the summer when I was in middle school. :)
Any song from the soundtrack of Top Gun. I used to rock out to that cassette with a fancy pants walkman and roller skate around my driveway. Apparently, roller skating really fast has a likeness to being a fighter jet pilot. Also, going to see the local roller derby bouts takes me back to those days and I also liken it to hockey because I was a really big Red Wings fan.
